Ensuring the utmost cleanliness holds the key to reliability, long service life and stable processes. This is especially the case in sensitive sectors such as the semiconductor, space and satellite technology industries, where cleanliness down to the micrometer level is integral to success.
Technology.
Ultrafine cleaning involves gently removing microscopic particles, films and residual material from sensitive surfaces without leaving any residue. For this purpose, we use wet-chemical and physical processes precisely tailored to the specific material and cleanliness requirements. We create the optimum conditions for the utmost precision in applications where cleanliness is critical for equipment to function – such as optical payloads, sensors and cameras, infrared and UV instruments, and space telescopes. Our 5,920 sq ft ISO class 6 cleanroom guarantees consistent, reproducible cleaning results and paves the way for outstanding performance during downstream processes such as assembly and packaging.
Application.
Ultrafine cleaning at the sub-micrometre level ensures maximum process reliability in semiconductor manufacturing as well as in high tech sectors such as optical systems for the space industry and scientific instrumentation. Our quality-tested processes minimise particulate and molecular contamination and meet outgassing requirements pursuant to NASA ASTM E595 as well as requirements for long-term stability under a vacuum. All our processes are traceable, validated and certified in accordance with the highest standards for technical cleanliness. As a member of the FiT Cleaning Association, we are guided by the latest developments and industry standards.
Quality assurance.
We use a range of validated testing methods. All our processes are documented from start to finish and follow industry-specific standards from the semiconductor, space and satellite technology industries.
