Several years ago, toolcraft AG installed a cooling water circuit to cool the air heated by the machines in the halls. Groundwater is extracted from the ground and transferred to the cooling circuit via a plate heat exchanger. In this way, the temperature of the halls and machines is regulated in an energy-saving manner and the groundwater is then channelled back into the ground via an absorption well.
