Technical University of Munich’s Scientific Workgroup for Rocketry and Spaceflight (WARR e.V.) wins competition again
The dream of high-speed travel is on the road to becoming a reality. Reaching the speed of sound is no longer only a focal point of the aviation industry, but could soon become achievable on the ground as well. The Hyperloop is the brainchild of Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX, PayPal and Tesla. With his firm The Boring Company, Musk has already constructed a network of tunnels under LA. A competition inviting participants to build a suitable pod for these tunnels was launched in 2015 and was now entering its third round. The race took place on July 22nd in L.A. Read here how the students from the Scientific Workgroup for Rocketry and Spaceflight (WARR e.V.) based at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) continued the success of their predecessors and how toolcraft supported them in this.
