Setting standards with measuring and testing technology

Measuring and testing is an integral part of our complete solutions. Our team of experts has many years of experience and uses the latest equipment. They have access to offline programming workstations and the latest software versions, and they quickly implement useful market innovations to ensure that your components are always of the highest quality for you and your clients.

Tactile measuring

The latest generation of 3D coordinate-measuring machines and customised devices manufactured on our own production lines ensure precise testing. We feel the shape of your components by using machines to test their dimensions, angles, symmetry and parallelism to reliably rule out any discrepancies.

Optical measuring

Our GOM equipment for non-contact optical measurements allows us to optimise and assess the quality of your components quickly and precisely. We also use this equipment for our reverse engineering activities.

Non-destructive surface testing

On an area of 100 m², we can now offer the opportunity to check components using a non-destructive method for cracks, overlaps, folds, pores and binding errors in the surface. The area is in accordance with Nadcap requirements. Even microscopically small cracks are revealed in the evaluation cabin under UVA light; these are cracks which can have a decisive effect in aerospace applications. However, the quality and surface finish of components is pivotal, especially in applications where ensuring safety and gaining certifications is important.

AM-SPECIFIC TESTING

In the area of additive manufacturing, we not only test the powder used, but also inspect the properties of additively manufactured test pieces, as these are representative of the subsequently produced components. We evaluate the dynamic strength of various metals using fatigue testing. The resulting Wöhler curves indicate the relationship between the number of cycles to failure and the applied stress.
