With a robot cell that combines years of expertise in machining with reliable software, toolcraft has once again demonstrated its feel for advanced innovation. Shown at various trade shows, the cell quickly met with several customer enquiries for quite specific manufacturing tasks – programmed with the software Octopuz from partner company unicam Software GmbH. The project was included in the Central Innovation Programme for SMEs (ZIM) and was awarded as ZIM Project of the Year in 2018 as part of the BMWi Innovation Day.

Every now and then there are larger parts to be machined that will not fit on conventional CNC machine tools. Or there are several process steps to be automated as efficiently as possible in the most confined space. toolcraft recognised the opportunity and transferred its machining expertise to robotised solutions.
At the same time it became clear that all customers would like to receive a comprehensive hardware and software package, but for the most diverse process combinations – from trimming, boring and bonding to removal and packaging. With flexibly changeable clamping systems and spindles.
toolcraft's integrated robot cell offers the widest possible scope for custom-tailored total solutions and extensions. In a cost efficient and flexible way, and consolidated within the most confined space. Another example of engineering excellency.
